iPhone SE 2 Release Date

New iPhone SE 2: release date will be in 2020. Well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo (Ming-Chi Kuo) believes that Apple will release the updated iPhone SE 2 in the first quarter of 2020. The updated iPhone SE will have a design similar to the iPhone 8, although it will have faster internal components.

Kuo believes that Apple will release the iPhone SE 2 with the latest A13 Bionic chip and 3 GB of RAM. This will be a major upgrade over the 2016 iPhone SE A9 chip. The analyst expects that Apple will release about 30-40 million units of the phone in 2020 and will help increase its market share.

iPhone SE 2 Release Date

If the iPhone SE 2 really comes out with a design similar to the iPhone 8, it will mean that it will have glass panels in front and back with an aluminum case. This could potentially allow Apple to enable the wireless charging feature on the device.

The iPhone 8 comes with a 4.7-inch display and the iPhone SE comes with a 4-inch screen. As Kuo expects the SE 2 to be the perfect upgrade for all existing 6 owners, it is possible that we will see how Apple will increase the display size of the SE 2 to 4.7 inches. Since the updated iPhone SE will be a budget phone, it will continue to use Touch ID instead of Face ID.

Despite the age, there is still quite a significant demand for the iPhone SE. Apple began selling refurbished iPhone SE devices through its store earlier this year, and the device almost never went on sale.

The updated iPhone SE will definitely help Apple attract customers in value-priced markets and those who prefer a small iPhone.
