Apple releases firmware update 2A36 for AirTag

Apple has released firmware update 2A36 for AirTag. Apple today released a new firmware version for its AirTag geolocation beacon. The update’s build number is 2A36, while the previous one, which came out in November, was 2A24e. When you install the update, you will see the version number 2.0.36.

New details emerge about the OnePlus 11 fast charging

It is not yet known what the new update contains. Perhaps a little later, Apple will release a document with details about the changes.

You cannot update the AirTag firmware manually, since it happens automatically “over the air” through the linked iPhone. In order for the update to install, you can place your AirTag near your iPhone and wait for a while. You can check the current AirTag firmware version through the Locator application.

Interestingly, in November, Apple released update 2A24e, but soon removed it before the update became available to everyone. The version released today will replace the previous one.
