In practice, in the Privacy and security section present in the browser settings, a new option will appear just below the password verification button, which will offer a quick overview of which websites have recently bombarded the user with tons of notifications, offering the user the possibility to review them by clicking on the Review button.

Seeing as most websites are starting to act more like mobile apps these days, sending notifications in all major browsers assuming the user has given them permission, Google Chrome now allows you to disable annoying notifications altogether with few clicks.

Another important security-related addition to Google’s browser is the implementation of a feature that allows you to block currently open incognito tabs behind biometric authentication without having to enable a flag.

This feature first spotted as a hidden option in September is now available on all Android devices with the Google Chrome app installed.
