Google is introducing the Material You in the Android Auto settings menu

In version 7.5 of the app, the Android Auto settings menu now includes the dark theme thanks to the Material You design.

This new settings menu isn’t available to everyone yet, but 9To5Google’s colleagues managed to manually activate it to give us a first look.

As with most of Google’s modern Android apps, Android Auto now supports the Material You theme for accent colors and can switch between light and dark themes, plus it offers a much tidier overall look than before.

It’s currently unclear when Google will start rolling out this new settings menu widely for Android Auto users, however it’s not out of the question that it could debut widely alongside the ‘Coolwalk’ redesign.
