IGTV videos can only be viewed in the Instagram app or in a separate IGTV app. None of these applications have the ability to download IGTV videos to watch them without access to the Internet.
To download IGTV video to iPhone, you need to use a third-party application.
How to download IGTV videos on iPhone
- Download the Regrammer app from the App Store for free.
- Launch the IGTV or Instagram app and find the video you need.
- Open the video you want to download and click the ellipsis icon. Select Copy Link.
- Now open the Regrammer app and paste the link you just copied into the search box. Click the Preview button.
- Videos that are longer than 10 minutes will be downloaded in several tracks.
Click the blue Share button and select Repost on Instagram. When you press the button, the video is automatically saved in the Photos app.
You can repost the video in your story or in a regular post. If you do not need it, just close the application.
Open the Photos application and find the download IGTV videos there.
