iPhone 14 Pro, Dynamic Island appeals to everyone, even Android users. The fashion of the last few years imposes a certain boredom a bit snobbish before and after each Apple presentation, complaining of innovations that are not revolutionary but only incremental, as if every year a revolution like the first iPhone could arrive, but this time instead everything is different for Dynamic Island exclusively only in the iPhone 14 Pro.

While hardly anyone has personally tried this feature at the moment, virtually everyone appreciates the elegance of Apple’s animations. With a stroke of genius, the Cupertino user interface department merged together a blocked and stolen area from the camera and sensor screen, transforming it for the first time into a space that is not only useful and functional, but also beautiful and fun to use.
Holes in the displays we have seen of all colors, first large and intrusive like the first notch of the iPhone X still present in the standard iPhone 14, up to the super microscopic ones available in the top-end Android terminals. Of course, many will continue to prefer the smallest possible hole in the display, or hidden altogether, yet many have complimented Apple on the smart and elegant Dynamic Island solution.
Firstly, the approval of Apple fans and observers, even those a little critical. For one user, “It might be Apple’s best design job in years,” for another, it’s none other than the coolest addition to this year’s Pro models. More: for yet another user, this is the function and feature that most tempts him to evaluate the purchase of an iPhone 14 Pro.
Among the most successful and targeted comments that of Ian Zeibo, author of numerous quality renderings of future Apple products based on technical diagrams and CAD files. In his opinion, «It is one of the best Apple designs in recent history» also because «It transforms what should be a negative aspect into a useful function». All true, even if it does not properly highlight the incredible care of the animations, for visual effects and fluidity, a work worthy of Pixar made by a hardware, software and services company.
Of course, for the final judgment it is necessary not only to try Dynamic Island for a few minutes, but to experiment with its functioning in daily use and this will emerge immediately, with the first reviews being published in the USA on the eve of availability in stores, therefore on Thursday 15 September.
But it is worth noting that in the tide of compliments and praise there are also those of Android users and professionals. Even Carl Pei, CEO of Nothing who for the launch of his first smartphone called the sector tired and slow in innovations, praised Dynamic Island calling it “Intelligent” including exclamation point, even going further for the always on screen (AOD). True, it comes years away from Android, but even Pei admits it’s the “Best implementation” he’s ever seen. It is not cheap.
Even Android Police, not always kind to Apple, is forced to admit “I won’t lie, Dynamic Island looks pretty stylish on the iPhone 14 Pro models.” An understatement if you want, because animations like this on Android have not yet been seen.
Even Apple’s marketing focuses more on Dynamic Island than other novelties: opening the page presenting the iPhone 14 Pro, one is immediately greeted with a beautiful animation showing Dynamic Island in action and immediately following the description «A magical and innovative way of interact with iPhone ». We can’t wait to admire it live and try it out personally.
