WhatsApp, now 15 minutes to edit sent messages

WhatsApp, now 15 minutes to edit sent messages. WhatsApp has announced a novelty that was highly requested by users: the ability to edit sent messages.

PHOLED will be the next giant leap of OLED TVs and screens

«Whether it’s to correct a simple typo or add further context to a message, we are happy to offer you even greater control over your chats», report the developers, explaining that «Up to 15 minutes after sending, just press and hold a sent message and choose “Edit” from the menu».

The indication “Modified” will appear next to these messages. This way, recipients will know about the fix without seeing the change history.

As with all personal messages, multimedia files and calls, even modified messages are protected by end-to-end encryption.

The feature is being rolled out globally and will be available to all users in the coming weeks.

Another novelty recently implemented is the ability to block chats with a password or with a fingerprint/FaceID request.; this feature allows you to secure some conversations, ensuring that conversations remain private and secure, even in areas such as family ones where you happen to have the phone of a child, parent, etc. at hand.
