What Belkin has announced in recent days is not a new product. There are many batteries in circulation that are able to charge iPhone to Apple Watch by integrating the classic magnetic platform born for the Apple smartwatch. The novelty is that in this case the ability of Apple Watch 7, Apple Watch 8 and Apple Watch Ultra to recharge faster is exploited.
The BoostCharge Fast Wireless Charger for Apple Watch + Power Bank 10K in fact reproduces the functions of the few desktop chargers compatible with this function (very few are) that connect via USB-C. As in the case of desktop chargers, Apple Watches recharge from 0% to 80% in about 45 minutes while Apple Watch Ultra from 0% to 80% in about an hour.
The battery is recharged with a 20W USB-C PD for recharging the powerbank itself and other devices. Thanks to the 10,000mAh capacity, the Belkin accessory has enough energy to charge the Apple Watch Series 8 14 times, or the iPhone 14 twice.
An LED indicator on the battery lets you know when it needs to recharge. It integrates overload protection systems, is USB-IF and MFi certified, and supports wireless charging of 2nd generation AirPods Pro.
