HUAWEI introduced EMUI 13 – what’s new, what devices are supported. Unexpected, but nice. HUAWEI suddenly took and introduced a new firmware version that is installed on smartphones for the global market. The manufacturer puts Harmony OS on devices for China, and releases EMUI for other regions. Just the 13th version “arrived” a few days ago.

According to experts, the new operating system outwardly strongly resembles Harmony OS 3.0. But in terms of functionality, it has become richer. Now they can be opened and edited with a single gesture. Apparently, the developers were inspired by the concept of iOS 16, which brought a wide range of customization options to branded devices.

On the desktop, managing shortcuts to installed programs has become even more convenient. Now they can be “scattered” in smart folders.
Superhub
Now HUAWEI devices support something similar to Apple’s Handoff – the SuperHub function allows you to work with content on any supported device. For example, transfer files between devices using the Drag to Share function.

What devices are supported
At the moment, HUAWEI does not disclose the list of supported devices, however, as practice shows, flagship smartphones will be the first to receive the new OS.
