The smartwatch

It is a smartwatch with a steel body, inside which the true wireless earphones are kept. The watch itself features a 1.43-inch AMOLED high-definition color display with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels, with a button and digital crown decorated with a Clous de Paris motif.

It has a thickness of 14.99 mm and inside it includes 21 layers of technology, including an eight-channel photoelectric sensor, a micron-precise rotating shaft, a charging cradle for earphones, a magnetic docking unit and, of course, a pair of true wireless earphones housed in a dedicated compartment located under the dial.

In terms of materials, a thin and high-strength lithium aluminum silicate glass has been used, which is even thinner than that found in the Huawei Watch GT3 and 25% stronger.

Among the features, Huawei Watch Buds supports various wellness monitoring functions, such as automatic detection of blood oxygen saturation, heart rate monitoring with TruSeen 5.0+ and sleep monitoring, and inherits the innovations introduced by the range of wearables Huawei for the world of sport and fitness.

It features 80 sports modes, including 10 professional sports modes such as outdoor running, indoor running, outdoor walking, indoor walking, outdoor cycling, indoor cycling, rope skipping, elliptical machine, rowing machine, free training.

The earphones

Of course, the most curious feature of this device is that, inside, it houses two wireless earphones. Overall, the Huawei Watch Buds looks like a one-of-a-kind device, with a pop-up design that allows the lid of the watch to open instantly like a pocket watch, so you can easily reach the Buds inside.

The earphones have adaptive identification technology, so as to be optimized according to the ear in which they must be positioned. Both earphones of Huawei Watch Buds feature a polymer-coated octagonal base design with platinum platings and adaptive identification technology that makes them interchangeable between left and right ears, even when placed in the case.

Through adaptive identification technology and the IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) sensor, the Huawei Watch Buds earphones are able to measure the acceleration of the angular velocity based on the user’s movement. This means that if worn incorrectly, the earphones will self-adjust according to the left or right ear canal.

HUAWEI WATCH Buds also support Wide Area Touch with Vibration Sensing for command management which allows you to access more functions by touching the device with a wider range. In terms of sound quality, they feature full-range four-magnet planar diaphragm, capable of delivering audio up to 104d. In addition, they are equipped with two microphones for audio detection and a bone conduction sensor for picking up voices and ambient sounds.

The Huawei Watch Buds battery is able to power both the watch and the earphones, allowing use of up to 3 days after a full charge and up to 7 days in energy saving mode.
