The XS1000 joins the XS2000 as a new offering in Kingston’s external SSD product portfolio.
Both drives are extremely compact, weighing less than 29 grams and pocket-sized.
The XS1000 SSD boasts read speeds of up to 1,050 MB/s and capacities of up to 2TB, providing ample space for storing photos, videos and files. The drive comes with a USB-C to USB-A cable and maintains backwards compatibility ensuring connectivity even with older devices.
As small as a keychain, the XS1000 is referred to as a reliable companion to facilitate file backup, important documents, memories and multimedia files.
The drive, as mentioned, is compact (half the size of a standard SSD), measures 69.54 x 32.58 x 13.5 mm, and weighs 28.7 g, ensuring unparalleled portability. The XS1000 is available in 1TB and 2TB variants and is backed by a five-year limited warranty with free technical support. The casing materials are metal and plastic.
