OnePlus 11R 5G will be updated for at least 5 years. In recent days, OnePlus has launched the OnePlus 11R 5G, a high-end smartphone that arrives on the market with the latest available version of the manufacturer’s customized interface on board, namely OxygenOS 13, based on Android 13.

On the occasion of the launch of this smartphone, the OnePlus team did not provide details on the software support that will be guaranteed to users who decide to buy it but in the last few hours the clarifications that many were waiting for have arrived on Twitter.

The OnePlus support team has confirmed that the OnePlus 11R 5G will be able to count on 4 major Android updates and 5 years of security updates.
This means that whoever buys this smartphone should also receive Android 17 (or whatever the name of the OS version that will be released in 2026) and will be able to rely on security patches until 2027.
