The Galaxy S24 series, equipped with these AI features, promises to transform user experience. Gemini Pro excels in processing various data types, such as text, images, and videos, making it a versatile tool for general understanding and information synthesis. This AI model will be utilized in Samsung’s native apps to provide functionalities like summarizing tasks in Notes, translating and transcribing in the Voice Recorder, and offering real-time language translation in 13 languages through the Keyboard’s Chat Assistant.
Moreover, the phone will facilitate real-time translation during calls, either by transcribing conversations into text messages or directly translating spoken words. Imagen 2, a product of Google DeepMind, empowers users to transform text into images, enhancing the editing capabilities within the S24 Gallery app. This feature allows creative editing, like filling image backgrounds using generative AI.
The S24 series will also incorporate Gemini Nano, an on-device large language model, as part of the Android 14 OS.
