TCL unveils the first terminals with color NXTPaper screens. TCL introduces the NXTPAPER series of smartphones, TCL 40 NXTPAPER and TCL 40 NXTPAPER 5G. They will be the first to offer a paper-like color viewing experience.

The launch of the NXTPAPER phones represents another important step in TCL’s commitment to bring experiences that are elevated in terms of eye comfort. TCL’s NXTPAPER full color electronic paper-like display technology has to date only been available on select tablets and laptops from the manufacturer.
The new NXTPAPER smartphones offer visual comfort that minimizes the emission of harmful blue light. Users can enjoy the daily use time of the phone screen, with paper-like color viewing experience, maintaining the original color balance. In addition, a built-in sensor automatically adjusts screen brightness and color temperature based on the time of day and the surrounding environment.
TCL 40 NXTPAPER
Designed for entertainment and creativity, the TCL 40 NXTPAPER features a 6.78″ FHD+ NXTPAPER display, dual speakers and 3D boom audio powered by DTS, and a 32MP selfie camera. The 50MP rear camera system is complemented by a 5MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP macro sensor.
It features a slim design with a thickness of only 7.89 mm and a 2D back cover. It boasts 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM with an additional 8GB of virtual RAM expansion.
TCL 40 NXTPAPER 5G
TCL 40 NXTPAPER 5G offers 5G connectivity, mounts a 6.6″ NXTPAPER HD+ panel coupled with the paper-like viewing experience and NXTPAPER user interface. The 256GB storage memory is accompanied by 6GB of RAM which can be further expanded with an additional 6GB of virtual RAM expansion.
The device features a rear camera system that includes a 50MP main camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. The front camera, on the other hand, is 8MP.
