Apple announces iPad Pro 2022 and 10th generation iPad. As expected after the temporary closure of the Apple Store, the new iPads have arrived: these are the 12.9 and 11-inch models now with M2 processor and the aesthetically revolutionized 10th generation iPad 2022.

The new iPad Pro
The new iPad Pro feature the new processor as the main (almost exclusive) novelty. This is the component we have already seen on the MacBook Air and MacBook Prod at 13 ″. The press release does not mention anything else of relevance except the fact that with the new processor the iPads are XX times faster than the previous models.
As expected there is neither the reverse charge that would have allowed accessories to be recharged as if the back of the iPad were a wireless charger nor the mini LED screen on the iPad 11 ″. This particular component that guarantees a quality comparable to that of OLEDs at a lower cost and without the problems of “molding” of OLEDs is still reserved for 12.9 ″ iPads.
Lots of news for basic iPad
Many are the novelties of the tenth generation iPad, announced by the covers that appeared a few hours ago. The cheapest of the tablets introduces an iPad Air-like design with a larger screen for moving the Touch ID to the top where the power button is located. Finally comes USB-C instead of the lightning connector of previous generations.
Other interesting innovations include the camera on the longer side of the screen for FaceTime and communication in more natural ladscape mode without the risk of covering the camera with a disto and the A14 processor which makes iPad much faster. Apple has decided to present the new iPads through a press release, rather than through a new keynote to be disseminated on official channels. Unlike what happened with the iPhone, therefore, the Cupertino giant has kept a lower profile. In fact, the press release presentation had been on schedule for a few weeks.
