Along with the new iPad Pro and iPad 2022, Apple has also introduced Magic Keyboard Folio, a new model of the cover with integrated keyboard and trackpad, which for the first time adopts a two-piece design, an intelligent solution to make even better use of the many functions made available.

In fact, Magic Keyboard Folio acts as a protective case for the back and also for the front of the tablet display, serves as a stand and support, provides trackpad, a keyboard with buttons with 1 mm travel and finally also a row of function keys. It is the ideal companion for this tablet or, as Apple declares, its soul mate, which brings the experience of using the tablet very close to that of a MacBook.
The row of functions found on several other iPad keyboards such as those from Logitech, arrives for the first time on an Apple keyboard dedicated to the iPad, providing easy access to shortcuts and simplifying daily tasks, such as adjusting the volume or the brightness of the display. .
The Cupertino giant specifies that Magic Keyboard Folio brings standard-sized keys and the responsive feel of Magic Keyboard to entry-level iPads for the first time. However, it should be noted that with the tenth generation Apple has significantly increased the price of the iPad 2022, so now the cheapest Apple tablet in the list is still the ninth generation iPad 2021 that the company continues to offer for sale despite the arrival of the new model.
As anticipated, the accessory also features a two-piece design: both the detachable keyboard and the rear panel magnetically hook onto the iPad, a smart solution that further improves versatility of use. This allows users to magnetically detach the keyboard, but still use the kickstand and keep the back of the iPad protected.
Apple Magic Keyboard Folio is only compatible with 10th generation iPad 2022 as it is the only iPad model equipped with a Smart Connector along the bottom edge.
