The new request was added on iOS 16 as a measure to improve user privacy, as it requires apps to ask for permission to access the clipboard, which can often contain sensitive data. The request, however, is constant and is repeated several times even on the apps already authorized, but only in certain circumstances.
Apple has finally responded to these complaints, stating that constant pop-ups are a bug, as this option must work differently.
Ron Huang, Apple’s senior manager, responded to an email from a user stating that the pop-up shouldn’t appear every time you try to paste something on iOS 16. “This is by no means expected behavior and we will. at the head, ”said Huang. “The problem was not found internally by Apple, but we have already received several reports”.
