Could the 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pros with Mini-LED Displays Debut Before Year-End? Apple might be gearing up to introduce its new 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pro variants with the power-efficient mini-LED screens before this year concludes, as indicated by DigiTimes.

Insiders suggest that Apple has plans to roll out these new MacBook Pro sizes in the last quarter of 2023, with the miniLED tech potentially enhancing display brightness by an impressive 10% compared to the initial specifications.

It may sound paradoxical initially, but the information hints that the enhanced luminosity capabilities of the mini-LED won’t necessarily result in brighter MacBook Pro screens. The technology’s advantage lies in achieving the same level of brightness while conserving energy.

Past leaks have indeed pointed towards Apple’s endeavors in creating a MacBook Pro equipped with a mini-LED screen. However, there’s skepticism about the current speculations. The skepticism stems from the fact that Apple recently unveiled the 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pros powered by the M2 Pro and M2 Max chips earlier this year. The majority of the conjectures revolve around the idea of the succeeding models launching next year.

Per insights from Bloomberg’s tech guru, Mark Gurman, the forthcoming iterations of these devices will likely house the M3 Pro and M3 Max chips. He anticipates a launch by the middle of 2024, at the latest.
