Google releases Android 13 QPR2 Beta 3.1 for Pixel smartphones. A few days after the release of the Android 13 QPR2 beta 3, Google has started the release of a minor update that fixes a couple of bugs and introduces the security patches of the month of February.

Android 13 QPR2 Beta 3.1 brings with it the version number T2B3.230109.004 and is available in these hours as an OTA update for all compatible Pixel smartphones. The update introduces the latest security patches – the beta 3 was in fact stopped at the January patches – and fixes a couple of bugs reported by users.

  • Fixed an issue in the system Bluetooth module that could have allowed for possible out-of-bounds writes due to memory corruption.
  • Fixed an issue where some Romanian translations were missing from the system image.

How to install Android 13 QPR2 Beta 3.1?

Android 13 QPR2 Beta 3.1 is available for all Pixel smartphones starting from Google Pixel 4a and up to Google Pixel 7 Pro. If you are already subscribed to the beta channel you will receive an OTA update in the next few hours, while if you want to join the program you can do it by following this link to register your device, which will receive the update within a few minutes.

Alternatively you can download the Factory Images or OTA packages directly from the official site to install them manually via ADB. To exit the beta program once registered, you will have to remove your smartphone directly from the link from which you registered and you will receive an update that will bring your smartphone back to the stable version, however you will lose all data.
