Oppo unveils the foldable Find N2 and the first Flip version. With the new devices of the Find N series, the manufacturer wants to give a decisive impression, presenting them as thin and light, with an almost invisible fold. Both smartphones will be launched on the Chinese market following the presentation at INNO Day 2022, while the Find N2 Flip model will be the first OPPO device with this form factor to be launched on global markets next year.

OPPO Find N2 is the successor to OPPO’s innovative folding smartphone, which manages to contain the weight in just 233 grams, a result that makes it the lightest horizontal folding smartphone in the sector. The Find N2 is also very slim, measuring just 14.6mm when closed.

Among its main features, the second generation of Flexion Hinge folding screen which adopts new materials, including carbon fiber and high-strength alloy used in the aeronautical industry, built with 100 components, 36 fewer than the previous generation. Together with the optimizations of the display and internal structure, the weight of Find N2 has been significantly reduced by 42 g compared to the original Find N but without compromising its quality.

In addition, the improved structure of the second generation Flexion Hinge also offers a less visible crease than the previous Find N. The crease along the center of the Find N2’s internal screen has been reduced by 67% to ensure its users a more comfortable experience. more engaging work and entertainment. Finally, thanks to the improved hinge, the terminal has no gaps when the device is closed.

As for the display, Find N2 can resist, according to TUV laboratory tests, up to 400,000 times. Both the Find N2’s external and internal displays have a refresh rate of 120Hz.

In addition, the 7.1-inch internal screen can reach 1550 nits of maximum brightness, while the 5.54-inch external display reaches 1350 nits of maximum brightness.

The device is internally equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 5G mobile platform, a 4520 mAh battery and 67 W SUPERVOOC charging support. On a multimedia level, it has a 50MP main camera with Sony IMX890 sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide camera that can also be used as a macro and a 32MP 2x RGBW tele camera that guarantees noise reduction for improved portraits and zooms.

OPPO Find N2 Flip in fact solves many weak points of the previous flips, including the presence of a larger front screen and better autonomy, which in this case reaches – thanks to the 4300 mAh battery – use throughout the day. The result is also achieved thanks to a custom chipset, MediaTek Dimensity 9000+, which reduces energy consumption.
