POCO X4 GT finally gets the update to MIUI 14 Global. Xiaomi and the brands belonging to its universe – Redmi and POCO – are moving with guilty delay compared to the competition regarding the release of updates to Android 13 and, although the official announcement of MIUI 14 arrived a couple of months ago , only in the last few weeks have we seen the coverage of an increasing number of models, with the most recent example represented by POCO X4 GT.

If you follow us with a good dose of continuity, you know very well that up to now Xiaomi has not been the most diligent Android OEM in releasing Android 13 for its smartphones; however the Chinese giant is working hard in an attempt to catch up. Returning to current events, as we write there is another name that is added to the list: that of the mid-range POCO X4 GT, launched last year with Android 12 and MIUI 13 on board.
For POCO X4 GT the roll out of the Global version of MIUI 14 based on Android 13 has started, therefore a real major update that affects both MIUI and the Android version. The V14.0.1.0.TLOMIXM build includes the news and improvements that we reported to you when launching the new interface, as well as a series of optimizations. There are also the January 2023 security patches.
