The Samsung Galaxy S23 series will only get Snapdragon chips. Qualcomm and Samsung have entered into a “multi-year agreement” that includes Snapdragon chips in premium Galaxy products around the world.

All Galaxy S23 series smartphones are expected to be powered by Snapdragon chips. The presentation is scheduled for early February 2023.

In flagship devices, Samsung used its own chips for the European market only. In most other countries, the company has previously used Qualcomm chips.

One of the reasons for the rejection of Exynos chips is Qualcomm’s 5G modem. It will be integrated into the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 system-on-a-chip, which will be installed in the S23 series.
