Samsung will unveil Galaxy S23 on February 1st

Samsung will unveil Galaxy S23 on February 1st. The publication by mistake in recent days by Samsung Colombia is confirmed: in the past few hours with an official announcement the South Korean multinational invites press and spectators to the Galaxy Unpacked event which will take place on February 1st and, even if Samsung does not expressly say so , during which it will unveil the new terminals of the Galaxy S23 family to the world.

This is the first Samsung event with live participation in the last three years: the event will take place at The Masonic Auditorium in San Francisco with the possibility of course to follow the event live streaming via the Internet.

Samsung’s roadmap is fixed over time, as is that of Apple and the other major smartphone brands: for years the new Galaxy have always been unveiled in the first months of the year. But there are two other details that confirm everything. The invitation image shows a beam of light that illuminates and highlights three lighter circles, a reference to the triple rear camera configuration typical of the latest generation Galaxy.

This time, however, Samsung has also already activated pre-orders for two unspecified future devices, a Galaxy smartphone and a Galaxy Book. US users who pre-order one now will receive $50 credit, while those who pre-order both will receive $100 credit.

No one doubts anymore that the new Galaxy S23 will arrive on February 1st with a design very similar to the current one, but with a substantial leap in specifications, especially for the Ultra model.

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S23s are expected with improved fingerprint sensor, new 200MP camera sensor for the Ultra model, 50MP sensor for the standard models, satellite connectivity function similar to the iPhone 14 and more.

It seems that for the upcoming next generation Samsung will use only Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chips, excluding for the first time the proprietary Exynos chips, so far used for models sold in Europe and Asia.
