The launch of the new Beats Studio Pro is approaching

The launch of the new Beats Studio Pro is approaching. Apple’s upcoming Beats Studio Pro headphones appeared in FCC filings today, meaning we’re getting closer to a potential launch date.

Apple has yet to unveil the new Beats Studio Pro headphones, but they were already spotted in the macOS Ventura 13.4 update in May. Now, the registration in the FCC documents also comes.

The headphones are identified with a model number A2924 and a BeatsStudioPro1,1 ID. The Beats Studio Pro will therefore be a new version of the Beats Studio3 over-ear headphones, which are now several years old.

Code in macOS suggests that the Beats Studio Pro headphones will be released in collaboration with A-Cold-Wall’s Samuel Ross, who just joined Beats as lead design consultant. The design appears to be largely identical to the Beats Studio3 headphones, but Apple will likely add internal improvements to justify the “Pro” name.

The headphones may feature an updated Apple chip and additions like improved active noise cancellation and a transparency mode. Apple also plans to add “Hey Siri” support, a feature that isn’t available in current Studio3 headphones.

The Beats Studio Pro headphones could be released later this summer, as information in FCC filings usually comes out a few weeks to a month before launch.
