Google Pixel 7a is now official. On the occasion of the Google I / O event, Pixel 7a was officially presented, a smartphone from Big G that promises advanced hardware and software features at an affordable price (starting from 509 euros).

The integrated chip is the Tensor G2 (5nm) and various features found in premium smartphones are available for the first time on an A-Series smartphone, such as face unlock, 8GB RAM, 90Hz display and wireless charging (with Pixel Stand or other Qi-certified charging devices). Storage starts at 128GB.
Pixel 7a has the same design as Pixel 7 and 7 Pro (but the body is made of aluminum and not glass) with the camera bar arranged as on these models and smooth surfaces. The dimensions are 152.0 x 72.9 x 9.0 mm (height x width x depth) and the weight is 193.5 g
The device is listed as being able to withstand drops and bumps. The aluminum shell is made from 100% recycled material.
Pixel 7a is available in four: charcoal gray, ice white, sky blue and coral (the latter color exclusive to the Google Store). The manufacturer also reported the arrival of the light blue Pixel Buds A-Series and specific cases for Pixel 7a in five colors: charcoal gray, ice white, light blue, marine green and coral.
The Pixel 7a’s camera system has been updated; The main camera features a 72% larger sensor than the Pixel 6a, and a new 13-megapixel ultrawide lens lets you photograph wider scenes. According to Big G, Night Photo mode is twice as fast as Pixel 6a.
You can shoot 4K video with the 13 megapixel front camera and the Long Exposure feature lets you capture subjects such as a waterfall. The Tensor G2 allows zoom up to 8x and there are software features such as Magic Eraser and Sharpen Photo, to improve photos.
Among the peculiarities of this device, software features for transcription of the call, functions that exploit AI to reduce background noise and live translation.
