New Apple Watches and new iMacs in Apple’s 2023-2024 roadmap. In the latest issue of his newsletter “Power On”, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman launches into his predictions, which usually prove to be reliable, about Apple products that will arrive in the fall and among these he easily foresees Apple Watch Series 9 and the second generation of Apple Watch Ultra.
How to clear cache memory on iPhone, what is it for and why to do it?
As for MacBooks and MacBook Pros with M3 chips, they aren’t expected before the end of the year or early 2024. Gurman reports new 24″ iMacs, a machine not yet updated with the M2 chip, but also an iMac with a 30″ display, all -in-one which is supposed to be the Apple Silicon successor to the iMac Pro with 27” Retina Display.
The 2017 iMac Pro was offered in 8-core and 10-core (also configurable with 14-core and 18-core) Intel Xeon W 3.2GHz and 3.0Ghz variants; it is not clear what processor Apple should use for the iMac but it could be a future M3, M3 Pro or M3 Ultra or something like that…
Gurman reiterates that Apple is working on hardware updates for iPads, including iPad Pros with OLED screens and next-generation iPad Airs.
Also according to the Bloomberg editor, the third generation of AirPods Pro, a new Apple TV and other smart home products are in preparation, all “in the early stages of development”.
The iMac currently in the price list has been updated in April 2021, with its new slim design, M1 chip, 24 “Retina 4.5K display, shell offered in 7 colors (green, yellow, orange, pink, purple, blue and silver ), and configuration options that include larger storage drives, 8 or 16GB of unified memory, two USB 3 ports, and Gigabit Ethernet.
