The iPhone is the most desired smartphone by teenagers! A new survey reveals that the iPhone is still the most desired smartphone by US teenagers.

Apple record of renewable, will be carbon free in 2030

Apple products continue to be the most attractive on the market for teenagers in the U.S., despite the immense efforts of the competition: 87% of young people own an iPhone and 88% expect to choose it as their next smartphone.

Titled Taking Stock With Teens, Piper Sandler’s survey is conducted on a semi-annual basis and details the desires and habits of teenagers in the United States. It is demonstrated, once again, that Apple is particularly appreciated by young people, with record results. In fact, the 87% adoption of a premium smartphone is undoubtedly a strong signal.

Turning to smartwatches, a growing category among young people, we note that the spread of Apple Watch has risen by four percentage points compared to last autumn. Apple remains the watch brand of choice for high-income US teenagers, despite an eight percentage point decline in the fall of 2022.

Apple services, which have formed an essential part of Cupertino’s ecosystem of products for sale in recent years, are equally popular. Suffice it to say that Apple Pay is considered the best payment solution for teenagers, with an adoption rate of 39%. 41% of respondents said they already use or plan to adopt iCloud+ Private Relay soon to increase their privacy. The only fiercely competing Apple service is Apple Music which is overtaken by Spotify. It should be noted that 44% of respondents used multiple services for streaming music.

The same survey also shows that only 7% of teenagers have a strong interest in Apple’s first AR/VR headset if the price will actually be $3,000.

For completeness, the survey involved 5690 adolescents in 47 states with an average age of 16.2 years. About 40% of respondents work part-time. The median income of the households surveyed is $67,691.
