On Saturday morning, as reported by the China Radio and Television Terminal Adaptation website (via Gizmochina), the Chinese giant communicated the timing of the release of MIUI 14 for many other smartphones, including the members of the Xiaomi Mi 10 family of 2020, following those already updated and those already scheduled for release.

Xiaomi is preparing to update other devices

The process of updating Xiaomi smartphones to Android 13 with MIUI 14 is proceeding, albeit calmly. The Chinese manufacturer, unlike other manufacturers, has so far updated few devices, giving priority to the most recent top ranges among those available on a scale global, such as the Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro which were updated in mid-January.

In the last few hours, Xiaomi has demonstrated its intention to keep up with the competition, publishing new details about the MIUI 14 update release schedule for other smartphones of the house, which add to the already “pending” devices listed in precedence:

According to reports from the China Radio and Television Terminal Adaptation website, the next Xiaomi smartphones on the list to receive the update to Android 13 will be the Xiaomi Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro and Mi 10 Lite, smartphones that the Chinese manufacturer presented in 2020 and for which the update in stable form would be almost ready for distribution. Venturing somewhat more precise timing, the Chinese portal speaks of a release scheduled for the month of April.

We know that, in the past, Xiaomi had already started testing the update to MIUI 14 based on Android 13 for its Mi 10 series smartphones, an update that will improve these smartphones in terms of battery life, system and responsiveness, making them faster and more effective.

This is practically certain, especially in the case of the two flagship models Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro which are powered by the Snapdragon 865 SoC, brought to new life by the update to Android 13 on competing smartphones.

To check if the update to MIUI 14 is available on your Xiaomi smartphone, you can follow the path “Settings> System info> MIUI version> Check for updates”. If unsuccessful, you can try again in a few days.
