Even Samsung has its iMac

Even Samsung has its iMac. Samsung has its all-in-one Windows PC very iMac-style – the Android mobile giant has re-entered the desktop PC space just these days, though not in every country. After tower PCs in 2016, the company had completely disappeared from the desktop PC space, having focused on laptops, including 2-in-1 hybrid models. Things are about to change: here is the new all-in-one Windows PC from Samsung in a very iMac style.

WhatsApp will transfer chats to new iPhone without iCloud

Today, Samsung released three new desktop models. The former is an all-in-one model, directly competing with Apple’s iMac, while the other two are desktop tower models.

Samsung’s re-entry into the desktop space appears to be a planned move: Qualcomm’s powerful next-generation ARM-based processors, dubbed Oryon, will be set to challenge Apple’s M-series Silicon processors for Macs in 2024. The new processors Qualcomm will also support new form factors such as hybrid notebook-tablet devices using Samsung displays.

A special feature of this all-in-one windows PC from Samsung is the back door that allows users to easily upgrade the RAM memory. In addition, it features a large 60.5 cm (23.62 inch) display and a speaker with applied Dolby Atmos 3D sound technology. Samsung’s All-in-One will be available in white, with prices starting at 1.21 million won, approximately 815 euros.

Samsung Tower PC

Beyond this iMac-style desktop, Samsung will also be launching two Tower PCs. Obviously, these will also have a side door to easily upgrade the memory, SSD, graphics card, as well as being able to easily clean the inside. Either way, both tower and slim products are equipped with Nvidia graphics cards to support high-end games.

The price for the tower available in black is about 514 euros, while the slim one in black or white starts at about 785 euros. The new Samsung PCs are available in South Korea and at the moment it is not known whether they will be marketed in other states as well.

With the new computers, Samsung also introduces new features via software and apps that allow multiple devices of the brand to be exploited together: Quick Share for sharing files with all Galaxy devices, Multi Control to allow users to use the keyboard and mouse of the PCs with Galaxy tablets and smartphones and Second Screen, which will allow users to connect their Galaxy tablet to their PC giving them a second display to work on.
