Unfortunately, the post on the Chinese social network Weibo does not indicate numbers or prices, it simply notes that Apple will increase the price of the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max as a strategy to further diversify the top models from the standard ones. It is interesting to note that another preview of the prices of the next iPhone 15 seems to correspond to the one just seen because it anticipates a possible price reduction for the iPhone 15 Plus.
The leaker who signs himself yeux1122, considered reliable for several correct advances provided in the past, indicates that the programming of Apple products takes place well in advance and that it is now too late to cancel the iPhone 15 Plus, an idea taken into consideration due to significantly lower sales Cupertino predictions.
For this reason, Apple would now consider further differentiating the models also in prices. Now those considering an iPhone 14 Plus, $899 in the US, can get many more new features, functions, a new processor, camera sensors, by spending an extra 160 euros ($100 in the US) to buy the iPhone 14 Pro which starts at 1,339 euros. If instead of the 14 Plus you switch to the iPhone 14 Pro Max to always have a 6.7” screen, the price difference rises by 310 euros in Italy and 200 dollars in the USA.
There are eight months left before the arrival and it is too early to attempt conclusions, in any case the strategy of greater differentiation between the basic and Pro models has already been indicated for months also by the reliable analyst Ming Chi Kuo.
