The 32GS95UE model is a game-changer in the gaming monitor market. It offers a unique Dual-Hz function that enables gamers to switch seamlessly between 4K resolution at 240Hz and Full HD at 480Hz. This versatility allows players to choose the best combination of resolution and refresh rate for their gaming needs, easily adjustable with a single click using the joystick.
This monitor is especially beneficial for different gaming genres. For fast-paced games and shooters, the FHD 480Hz mode offers an edge, whereas the 4K 240Hz mode is ideal for more visually rich, story-driven games. The 32GS95UE’s 0.03 ms (GtG) response time significantly reduces motion blur, enhancing clarity and dynamism in gameplay.
Design-wise, the 32ā UltraGear OLED boasts a 4-sided bezel-less design for an immersive full-screen experience. The monitor also features Pixel Sound technology and an integrated front audio system with two woofers, supporting DTS Virtual:X for a three-dimensional sound experience. Additionally, built-in speakers behind the OLED panel eliminate the need for external speakers, freeing up desk space.
The 34GS95QE and 39GS95QE models are also noteworthy additions. These monitors feature 800R curved OLED displays in a 21:9 cinema format and UltraWide Quad HD resolution. The design minimizes bezel distractions and includes an Anti-Glare & Low Reflection coating for comfortable viewing. A 240 Hz refresh rate and a 0.03 ms (GtG) response time ensure fluid and responsive gameplay.
LG’s new gaming monitors also incorporate the Unity Hexagonal design, blending aesthetics with practical cable management. The āLā shaped stand offers adjustable inclination, height, and rotation, optimizing space on the desk while ensuring stability.
The 2024 UltraGear OLED gaming monitor lineup extends further with two 45-inch models and a 27-inch model (45GS95QE, 45GS96QB, and 27GS95QE). These models are VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certified, offering high-brightness screens that promise intense, deep blacks and sharp details even in dark gaming environments. The 45GS96QB, in particular, combines a curved OLED display with UltraWide QHD resolution and integrated speakers for an immersive gaming experience, while the 27GS95QE is designed for smaller spaces with a 27″ flat-screen OLED display.
Details on pricing and availability of these models are yet to be announced, with more information expected at CES 2024 in Las Vegas. This lineup from LG signifies a substantial leap in gaming monitor technology, offering a range of options to suit various gaming preferences and setups.
