WhatsApp Debuts New Feature for iOS: Create and Customize Your Own Stickers

WhatsApp has recently introduced an exciting new feature for iOS users, offering the ability to create, edit, and share personalized stickers directly within the app. This innovative tool eliminates the need to import images from the photo gallery or rely on external apps for custom sticker creation.

Users can now transform their photos into unique stickers or customize pre-existing ones using WhatsApp’s comprehensive suite of editing tools. These tools include options for adding text, embellishments with drawings, and layering with other stickers. Once created and sent, these personalized stickers are automatically saved for future use, allowing for easy access and repeated sharing.

To craft a sticker from a photo, users can start by accessing the stickers tab located next to the text box. The “create sticker” option leads to a gallery selection, where users can pick an image to customize. They can then tailor their sticker by cutting it out and adding text, other stickers, or drawing directly on it. After finalizing the design, the sticker is ready to be shared.

Editing an existing sticker is just as simple. Users need to open the stickers tab, long-press the chosen sticker, and select the “edit sticker” option to make their modifications.

This feature is currently in the rollout phase and is expected to be available to all users in the coming days. This update reflects WhatsApp’s commitment to enhancing user experience and creativity, making conversations on the platform more engaging and personalized.
